Here you will discover the sea shores and sand cliffs that extend from Albufeira to Sagres with it's impressive and dramatic cliffs hanging 100 feet in the air, the "Barrocal" with it's legendery waterfalls, traditional small towns and beautiful mountains, the fishermen's harbors with their net stitching, traditions and wood houses, the Ria Formosa (our National Natural Park) that extends for more than 100 kms of sea life, bird watching and rare flowers that blossom only in this area, and the 5 city castles that stand as our National Flag Icon for beeing the defenders of the Algarve and Portugal of the 1500's invaders, still intact and beautifully preserved.
