I do not consider myself to be a photographer, in the sense that I devote much time to photography, per se. I am a field biologist who has had the priviledge of working in beautiful places, with wonderful species, and whenever I could spare the time - and had the equipment with me! - I tried to freeze certain moments or scenes on a photograph, so I could re-live that moment endless times thereafter... Sometimes a photo will bring even a smell back, so is the human mind!
