I am an enthusiastic amateur landscape photographer living in England. I have a growing interest in aurora photography and have been fortunate enough to visit stunning locations in Iceland, Norway, Sweden and Finland to capture this amazing spectacle. As auroras are an unpredictable (and at times elusive) natural phenomena, encounters with them in remote sub-zero locations provide an edgy excitement arguably rare in both landscape and night photography. At other times dramatic light and brooding seascape conditions provide a powerful draw. Though I myself am a one-trick landscape photography pony this doesn't stop me loving work in other genres and I really enjoy immersing in the at times stunning work on this site.
