Cascades

We took 2 days to visit the North Cascades Highway (Hwy 20) to Diablo Lake area. It is late in the season for a visit, but hey, we had the days off. I got a few nice shots of some of the autumn color and the very cool, winding dam on Lake Diablo. I was disappointed that there was not enough light to get the milky, turquoise color on the lake from the stone milk generated by the glaciers that feed the lake.
