Amateur with a reborn interest in photography and digital processing. Some photo class courses, but 99% self-taught through books, internet resources and just plain trial and experiment. Took a Continuing Studies photography course at the Emily Carr University of Art and Design, in Vancouver, BC. I have a fondness for Black & White, having taken an Ansel Adams Zone System course at least a decade before the advent of digital cameras. Worked with a Bronica 2 1/4 and Linhof 4x5 until my other passion for guitars replaced my passion for photography. As the years passed I lost the interest in the guitars and started to throw money at photography, although I still have two of my guitars left. Love to photograph landscapes, urban or rural, along with coastal scenes whenever I have the chance. Of course living in Vancouver puts me beside the water but it's not quite as wonderful as the west coast of Vancouver Island, the Gulf Islands of British Columbia or the Pacific Coastline along Washington, Oregon and California. I often "Like" photographs without adding a comment, time constraints don't always allow me the chance to add a few words, and I never tell anyone I "voted", however if I I leave a comment you know for certain that I "liked" your image.
