I am a professional photographer born in 1973. I have been in the industry on a commercial level since I was 22 Years old. Prior to that I developed a passion for photography when I was 9 years old, my father bought me a little Kodak instamatic camera and I went nuts photographing anything that moved or stood still. I then advanced to a Minolta SLR followed by a Canon SLR.
I Studied photography, from the age of 16 to 18 at school. Photography was a hobby only until the age of 22 when friends and work colleagues had seen my passion for photography and caused me to think about making a career out of it.
I started my career by promoting my services in weddings, portraits and family portrait sessions I was doing this until the age of 29 with a company I named Still Moments Photography.
I then decided to venture of to a completely different field of photographing children at schools and child care centres together with a friend who became a heavily involved business partner in a company we named Edupic. The business grew to amazing levels and then it all got a bit much for both of us and we decided to go our separate ways.
I continued to work with children in schools and childcare centres all over Australia; I got very involved with aboriginal communities and giving small communities the opportunity to have photographs taken as well in a company which I named ABC Pix.
Time went by and December 2009 I decided it was time to have a long break from photography. I sold all my camera equipment and most of my client base to a Perth based company with a view of not touching a camera for a few years.
Two years later I missed my passion and here I am again in 2012 with about $50,000 worth of camera gear and an amazing new concept called VisionAir Photography. The story begins!
