New to photography. Have been active outdoors for quite a while and would always come back from trips and show people pictures with the qualifier "the pictures just don't do it justice". Well, I finally decided I wanted to take pictures that "do it justice". This winter I was camping in northern Minnesota and got my first glimpse of the northern lights. I wasn't able to capture it with my point and shoot so I finally bought a DSLR. Since then I've been learning and practicing and learning. Most importantly, I'm starting to take good pictures and having a great time doing it!
