Male, born on 23/08/1990 Student in business department, 3level( finance and accounting as a major). I am a amateur photographer, been shooting since May 2010 when i purchased my firs Nikon D5000 and the kit lenses 18-55mm f 3.5/5.6 and the 55-200 f 4/5.6 On May 2011 i went a step further into photography, when i bought my Nikon D7000, and then all the other equipment that i have 8mm Rokinon f3.5 11-16mm Tokina f2.8 50mm f1.8 Nikon and 100mm Tokina Macro 1:1 f2.8 I own a Nikon Sb-700 Flash as well and plus some other gadgets necessary for photography It Firstly began as a hobby, now it is my passion. Tutorial for Daytime Long exposure

This dramatic shots at late sunset, after the sun has already fallen behind the mountains was achieved like this

First of all a definition of ND filter:

"In photography and optics, a neutral density filter or ND filter can be a colorless (clear) or grey filter. An ideal neutral density filter reduces and/or modifies intensity of all wavelengths or colors of light equally, giving no changes in hue of color rendition.

The purpose of standard photographic neutral density filters is to allow the photographer greater flexibility to change the aperture, exposure time and/or motion blur of subject in different situations and atmospheric conditions."

I used an ND filter of 10stops, which enabled me to achieve this long shutter speed at daytime, i used an B+W 110 filter. But, firstly i prefocused the shot, created the desired composition, because after the filter is mounted on the lens it makes it that dark and actually nothing is visible!
