I first picked up a camera in August 2011, before a trip to Africa with my family. At the time, I had no idea that I was getting myself into an obsession and compulsion. Click! I was in love.
I love to experiment, because photography itself is the joy. I believe that photography is about more than just making a picture. It is about capturing a moment in time, not as it happened, but as you perceived and felt it. Thus exposing a little bit of your own soul in the process.
Photographers are artists and philosophers - always leading you to think a little deeper and look within yourself. And if I can make even one person forget about this crazy life for a second and get lost in a frame, that is my true reward.
"Amateurs worry about equipment, professionals worry about money, masters worry about light. I just make pictures." - Vernon Trent
