Rodney Margison is a Christian, a father, a husband and a photographer. He has been photographing professionally since the late 1970s when he first picked up a camera in high school and immediately began taking sports and spot news pictures for his local daily newspaper in Columbus, Indiana. Since then, he has worked full-time in a variety of capacities within the photography industry, including as a staff photographer at both daily and weekly newspapers, a photography lab manager for both traditional and digital imaging, a studio photographer, camera salesman and as a freelance photographer. Rodney’s images have earned numerous awards and recognitions for both him and the publications for which he has worked through the Hoosier State Press Association, Kentucky Press Association and Associated Press Managing Editors. He currently owns and operates Rodney Margison Photography, specializing in Lifestyle and Fine Art Portraiture, in his hometown of Nashville, Indiana, USA. He is also a partner and co-founder of ThisIsBrownCounty.com, an online community news magazine.
