Ron Warren stumbled into photography by way of attempts to land a copywriting job. To flesh out a portfolio, he slapped his slogans and gimmicks onto stock photography to build his "book". He soon found that it was impossible to find all the images he needed so he began to make his own, and that's when the bug bit him. Hard. He started shooting everything in sight.
His professional work has focused on weddings and events, but he has recently become more interested in controlled photoshoot situations and has been working with models, still lifes, and fine art concepts, as well as documenting the changes that affect Detroit and the surrounding areas that he calls home.
He's currently researching some model or editorial shoots in what he calls "found sets". Stay tuned for those.
