How I got into photography.

I grew up with a passion for cars, in particular, cheap ones that I could afford at the time. Before I had even got a car I was buying Max Power magazine, Fast car magazine, revs...
... I then began going to the car shows, at first I took a disposable camera, as photography didn't bother me in the slightest. Getting those shots developed was painful, not one came out, I had no idea why, because I'd used the flash?? surely that was all I could do! So My 18th birthday came, and I had no idea what to ask for. I come from a photography fueled family, so my dads idea was to get me a digital camera. I knew nothing about them, so I just went for a good zoom, and a good MP count (5MP haha).
The camera in question was a Kodak Easyshare Z740 which I have looked after well, I still use it for snapshots.
That served me well for a couple of years, I did a few "photoshoots" for some car clubs, all fun and games really.
