I am a Health and Safety professional in Construction. Just over a year ago I sold my house and with some of the profits I decided to get a DSLR.
My main aim was to shoot videos with the DSLR but I made myself get into still photography so that I could get a better understanding of how the camera worked.
Since then I have not looked back. Capturing moments in time with my DSLR is fantastic... so I have not ventured into video as I am enjoying my stills so much. :-)
Its a hobby I would never have thought about taking up but to date I am really really enjoying it.
