da-da-da-dum da-da-da-dum da-da-da-dum followed by a soft crunch at 6am as i just knocked the alarm clock off the bedside table, i could here the rain lashing against the bedroom window as well, so no sunrise shoot for me this morning.
The dogs had heard the alarm clock going off though so I had to get up and sort them out, plus now I was awake a mug of tea and some biscuits wouldn't go amiss either:)
We then (or Harry) decided it would be good to go down the beach this morning for a walk eh dad, so with Harry and Jack loaded in the car we headed off for a walk and maybe a few pics too, as we drove up the coast the car was showing a chilly 5 degrees outside, so glad i had stuck a warm coat on before leaving.
Cart Gap beach in Norfolk at the moment is my favourite beach, close to home, and usually you get a picture or two down there, so everyone is happy.
As i said yesterday the 50mm would be on all this month, so as it was cloudy this left me just shooting the boys playing about on the beach, after Harry had had a busy few minutes doing his rampant labrador thing in the surf i got him to lay down on the beach and did so too as I wanted a low perspective, which always makes the dogs look better in shots.
I took a couple of shots (blog Shot) and suddenly Harry was gone like a flash of lightning!, before I could even pull the camera away from my face a large wave crashed over me, in desperation i shoved my right hand up in the air with the camera in tow to keep it dry (please) ! and started back peddling like a drunk crab as quickly as i could!
With an extreme bit of good fortune the camera remained completely dry, not the same could be said of me though, completely soaked from my feet up to my chest, the dogs hopping about around me I decided we had had enough and headed home with my heat sapping away very quickly!
Another mug of tea later and everything drying on radiators, dogs asleep on their beds, sunday normality is once again restored , just glad none of the geek squad were about this morning to grab the shot:)
