Hobbyist since the 1970's.
Used a Canon A1 until it was worn down. And a Pentax with hand held light meter.
Did old school darkroom chemicals and setups.
Key motivation is using the HDR method of photography.
Currently focused on landscapes and still life.
Post production 'darkroom' editing is with Photomatix and Lightroom 3.
Primary goal is finished work that seems to be an oil painting, charcoal sketch or industrial grade illustration.
I get most of my local field trip ideas from the meetup group "Portland Image Makers".
