Hello, my name is Stephane, I am 41 and I am living in Reunion Island wich is a small tropical island in Indian Ocean. As far as I can remember, I've been attracted by photography and cameras ; how lucky I was, my dad was too ! When growing up, this lend me to buy the analog Leica M equipment I have dreamt of for years. And then medium format was the way : I jumped for an Hasselblad 501 camera, a real beauty. Then came the digital wave wich led me to M8, M9 cameras, and a digital back for medium format. Now I am working a lot with the Leica M and an Alpa 12 camera wich, althought it's a portable camera, makes me think more before shooting… Mainly digital (so easy) but several times a year I fall in a Film Fever ! If you only know about digital world I urge you to take a look at a 6X9 Velvia shot. My main subjects are : the people I love, the people I met, journey ,landscape and architecture. I do not pretend my photographies are all good, but if one can hit you or makes you react, I will consider my job's done !
