To the right is Valhall Hotel & Resort, superb service and nice people! In the middle is a few houses on Meløyvær, an the lights in the far horizont is Andenes. Down in the left corner of this picture is an old viking barrial site. The island is full of culture, hidden treasures and one of the world most modern military sea defence systems. The islands (all 365 of them, small and big ones) are located in "Andfjorden" southern part. The Krøttøy island is known for a magnificent Aurora (Nordlys). Theres is almost no light polution to the Aurora/night shots.

Fire in the sky. The 19.11.2011 was the last day that the sun was over the horizont, beyond that we enter the darkness period what lasts a few months before the sun hits over the horizon again. The light in the arctic winther nights are just AWESOME!
