Graphic Designer / Illustrator based in Belfast, Northern Ireland. [ from the site ] My name is Stuart L. Crawford and I’m a logo designer / illustrator from Bangor, Northern Ireland. In 2009 I graduated from the University of Dundee, Scotland, with a B.A. (Hons.) in Illustration. After leaving uni I decided to start freelancing under the name Inkbot Design, specialising in logos and branding. It was an enjoyable transition moving from pure art into design, but I still illustrate from time to time, putting images up on the blog as much as possible. As it turns out, Illustration and logo design are incredibly similar – to ‘illustrate’ is to literally visualise / depict a story or message, which is an approach that is taken when designing a logo. Thanks to the internet, my clients now come from all corners of the globe – from startups and sole traders needing a logo designed to larger corporations that need a refresh / rebrand of their current style. My work’s been featured on many websites, in ComputerArts magazine and LogoTalks publications.
