I have been creating art since I can remember. My earliest memory involves coloring books and paper dolls. I loved my 64ct crayola crayon set, like joy in a box. Paper dolls were like self imposed collages.
I went on to art school and graduated with a BS in Graphic Design as my first career. Sometime later, I returned to school, graduating with a Masters in Social Work and telling myself I’d return to art when I retire. And then I retired.
I search for the nostalgia in things…a vintage feel…something to remind me of the “old days” when life was simpler.
Living in Florida, the Everglades call out with its natural hammock and in Canada; I’m called to visit the lakeshore, cottage life, anything nautical.
