Purple Sandpiper off the shores

Published January 11th, 2013

Purple Sandpiper is typically a coastal species moving inland very rarely. On 14 November 2008 an individual was found by local birdwatchers and immediately distributed the news to the Hungarian hot line. Hungarian birdwatchers visited the area straight away making it a well documented species of the Hungarian rarities.

I could make a couple of acceptable images despite having an extreme foggy weather with very little light available for photography. That was the day where I missed a decent flash to make a difference. Images were quite under exposed so became rather noisy.
