"I would love to travel the world one day, travel without limitations, visit countries, live the various cultures, observe what surrounds me and become fascinated with what a human eye can observe.
I would love to lose myself in untouched nature, sit on a mountain top and take in the view, in short I want to live, I want to be hungry, I want to be crazy and do it all with my camera in toe, with my music and my travel diary."
This is what I replied to a friend when asked how I saw my future.
Unfortunately I realize that most of these things will be impossible to achieve, given the family ties and duties, but I would still like to make at least a part of this dream come true.
My name is Matteo and I was born in 1986 in Ravenna where I still live.
Since when I was little, thanks to my family and scouts, I have had the possibility to travel, see new places and fall in love with nature learning to live it and respect it.
This love came to be when I was only 4 years old and to date it still occupies an important part of me.
In 2010 I became passionate in photography. An unexpected passion which from one day to the next has followed me to where I am today.
. It all started with a simple compact digital camera, until I purchased my first digital reflex and took part in two photography courses.
There are many kinds of photography and since the word go I tried to understand which was the one for me.
I began participating in forums, blogs, in order to share my pictures but most importantly in order to observe the work of great photographers. I would have never immagined to one day get to meet some of them and even have the opportunity to photograph with them.
My two passions united made me fall in love, for more than a year now, with Landscape and Travel reportage photography.
As soon as money and time allow I try to surround myself with nature, contemplate it's pure beauty and breath in the air of freedom as I know it, or else I travel.
I have visited China in 2011, a trip that profoundly changed me, a trip that allowed me for the first time to know a culture completely different from my own. A trip that will forever stay in my heart and one I hope to one day repeat and go all the way to Mongolia and maybe even Tibet.
Apart from these passions I am a university student in Ferrara seeking a degree in computer studies, I also work as a freelance webmaster which allows me to finance my university studies as well as my passions.
I have opened this website with the hope of communicating to everyone what I love, hoping to improve more and more every day. One never stops learning!
