Amateur, passionate, freak and photography aficionado living in Hong Kong. I was born in Belgium sometime in 1977 and grew up there. At the sweet age of 15 year old, my dad gave me his camera (a SLR with some of old lenses... one being a Carl Zeiss that I ignorantly mistreated as a teen... shame on me). I therefore started to shoot around ignoring all rules of photography to get some creative but very limited results. Some time after, I grew up and respected my gear a little more and bought my first Minolta (a Dynax 5xi if I can remember well). Then after a couple of years... nothing ... no more pictures. I had to study the great subject of International Business and Marketing. What a sad and boring time that was really. Luckily, I got back to a creative life when buying my first Canon DSLR. Later, moving to Hong Kong, I got my hand on the Hasselblads and now can never leave home without one of these babies.
So to summarize this long and boring recount of my life so far... I am a self taught amateur photographer, living with my lovely wife in the wonderful city of Hong Kong.
I also like Jazz and coconut ice cream.
