Theresa Durant, an American Photographer living in California. I am at this very interesting milestone in my life where I can now say "This is me, this is who I am." My recent craving out of life is to be happy and find contentment, at least once in a while. I finally feel the freedom to fully express myself and find my own space. (I Love it!) I am a mother. It is almost the hardest job I have ever had, yet I have had, and do have the most fun with my children. I often think that the child in me is more present than the adult, for the most part~ I think they are absolutely the only people in the entire world who truly accept me just as I am, without much complaint. My children are indeed my best friends~ I love being a photographer. It is what I enjoy doing. Like anything it is a constant work in motion.....always looking for that perfect capture. The right time, the right moment. That one great exhibition! I try to balance my entire life according to how I enjoy living. My personality and values determine my own style. I have faith in my abilities to get and keep my life in balance. I do stop and smell the flowers......all the time....I am enjoying my life~ Theresa Durant has had several European exhibitions as well as in the States. At one time she was focused mainly on her intimate florals, now she has expanded her vision into different areas, broadening her interest. Black and White photography is an exampled area.
