Interested in photography since I was a child, I became passionate about viewing the world around me through a lens.
I have spent the past 15 years honing my skills on various types of photography, although street photography continued to be my main focus.
In wedding and senior portrait photography I succeeded in bringing out the personalities of the subjects and fine-tuned my lighting - and people - skills.
Through photo-journalism for the newspaper I was able to produce photos that elicited emotional response, whether I was covering a local Veterans Day celebration or the Anti-War protests in Madison, Wisconsin.
Shooting fast-paced rodeo and soccer photos required a more action-intensive focus. Nature photography helped me develop a critical eye and a desire to shoot what other people normally overlook, resulting in some outstanding macros.
Street photography remains my main focus today. Black and white photography creates an emotional, detailed and often stark picture of the world around us, and I am drawn to show this in my work.
I am offering my vision of the world to you in a fine-art medium. I hope you find something here that speaks to you.
Like any other artist, I find my work ever-evolving.
