“To me, photography is an art of observation. It’s about finding something interesting in an ordinary place… I've found it has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them.

Garry Schlatter is an award winning photographer who lives in Brisbane, Australia which also happens to be his favorite place to take pictures. He puts a lot of work into each shot he takes, often visiting the same place over and over to get the light, mood, angle, and perspective just right.
His efforts have produced some of the most incredible photographic work you will come across.
Garry is a lover of all sorts of photography with a great spirit and a child-like sense of wonder about the World.
When not in the studio he prefers the low light situations for much of his work. He has a terrific sensitivity for capturing exquisite atmosphere, color and light.
A number of trips to remote Outback locations and National Parks sparked an interest in the great outdoors. "The beauty of creation invokes such a curiosity in me that I can't help but explore new and exciting places to capture those moments of unimaginable perfection. I seem to be drawn most to Landscape and Seascape genres of shooting but do not stop exploring other areas of photography as well."
