I currently live and work in Kunming, China but am originally from Vienna, Austria which is still my home city. I used to take a lot of pics when I was much younger in the pre-digital age. Recently I have gotten back into photography and although I do not expect to turn it into any kind of business, I have decided to dedicate much more time to it. I am watching podcasts and training videos and try to absorb all that is out there. I follow the new Mostly Photo show and have watched quite a few videos by Trey Ratcliff. Once it becomes available I plan to get the new 5D Mark III and go full frame. I guess it doesn't make much sense to buy the Mark II now although it seems to be an awesome camera with perhaps a few months down the line the 5D Mark II will make its debut. If you have the time and feel like it, please critique the pics I will be putting up little by little. I know that they are far from where I would like them to be but it is all a work in progress still. I used to work quite a bit with previous version of Photoshop as I was a graphic designer back home for some 13 years, but Lightroom is still very new to me but I am getting into it. I will appreciate any comments and help and hopefully future pictures will reflect your input. Thanks and best regards from the Middle Kingdom.
