I document things as they are. I'm drawn to what I find beautiful - light, genuine facial expressions, people at their best, or their most vulnerable. Themes I find myself revisiting are night street shots, live music, portraits, powerlines, reflections, and shadows. While photos can't convey the delicious flavor of foods or the rhythmic sound of music, I find that I shoot more when my senses are heightened. I am honored to document the people in my life. While I am sometimes paid for my work, photos are often how I repay others for the joy they bring me.
