Alan Ranger is a passionate photographer who found that through a collection of tubes and boxes with the word Sony stamped on them he could express his creative vision by pointing them at objects, people, scapes and just about anything that showed the beauty of light and shade. His work is varied but shows a unique style that he has developed through persistence and an inbuilt perfectionist approach to not only capturing something magical but being able to develop that further in the digital dark room. Alan originally directed his creativity through poetry and his love of music of all genres. These days this vision and emotion is clear to see in his images that are often inspired by his love of certain musical artists but also his ability to see beyond the normal view and express the poetry of light and shadow through striking images and offer a lens view back into his own soul.
