My art has always been unapologetically self-centered. Art is personal, emotional and intimate. Nature, like my art, has always been there for me as a respite from the daily grind and stresses of life. This is my therapeutic way to find serenity and rejuvenate my soul.
I was blessed that my parents introduced me to nature as a child. These experiences gave me a healthy ethic toward the earth. Memories that will always keep them forever present in my thoughts and heart as I connect with the land through my photographs.
I can only hope that my photographs inspire others to seek their own experiences within our natural world and through this appreciation, realize the need to preserve it for future generations. I've seen man's impact on the land in the name of "progress". I only wish to honor and celebrate creation as God may have intended us to all enjoy.
