My work explores the relationship between gender politics and midlife subcultures.
With influences as diverse as Blake and Frida Kahlo, new tensions are distilled from both constructed and discovered discourse.
Ever since I was a postgraduate I have been fascinated by the traditional understanding of the universe. What starts out as yearning soon becomes corroded into a cacophony of lust, leaving only a sense of nihilism and the possibility of a new reality.
As undefined phenomena become undefined through diligent and diverse practice, the viewer is left with an insight into the limits of our era.
