Ales Horvatek was born in Varazdin, Croatia where he grew up and attented elementary and high school. He became interrested in graphic design and photography right after he finished high school, an interest which transformed almost immediately into a carrer when he started working as a graphic designer on local TV station in Varazdin. Ales has more than ten years of experience in fields of graphic design, print, prepress and typography. Currently lives and works in Zagreb, Croatia, as an art director at an advertising agency Ictinus Grupa. His first love is low light concert photography. He first started by covering live shows from local bands, most by good friend and great artist - Diyala. Through years of collecting experience he is doing all kinds of concert photography from small dim clubs to big concert venues and festivals. Also has broad experience of shooting people, especially kids and couples, sports, promotions, events etc.
