Originally from Cornwall, Ali now lives and works as a freelance photographer in Edinburgh. Her commercial work specializes in fine art/ reportage wedding and events photography and her conceptual photographic practice tends to centre around themes of environment, society and culture, exploring the nature of collective and individual conventions, experience & conditioning.

Also fascinated by the power of photography & lens based medias as a force for social change, she has long term plans to develop empowering workshops for children, that support and teach primary education.
