I'm 17 years old and I absolutely love photography. I've been shooting for a bit over a year now and I can't let go of my camera, I take it everywhere. I find myself shooting all forms of photography, but mainly landscapes, animals, and people. When I first started, I kept thinking my shots were unoriginal, so I started going on sites like flickr to look at other people's photos, to get ideas to try next time I was in a situation like that, and soon enough I was able to create original compositions of my own. That's one of the reasons I love sites like 500px and flickr so much: they allow you to see photos that bring original ideas to the table, and learn from them. I hope someday to be like one of those great photographers who I've learned so much from.
I've recently started selling my photos to help fundraise for the charity "Free the Children", which works to help end child labor in developing countries around the world. You can learn more about them by visiting their website at: http://www.freethechildren.com/aboutus/index.php
