Whilst working for the emergency services, I was regularly attending incidents that lent great photographic opportunity. Working in a clinical capacity, however, prohibited exploiting such opportunities and my priorities were of course towards the immediate assessment and treatment of my patients.
Upon travelling to Borneo to work as a volunteer on local projects for a month, I met a young photographer who had just completed his A levels and introduced me to Photography. From this unique experience and lasting impression he left with me, I knew my chosen career was to change. Upon reducing my hours for the Ambulance Service, I began working with local photographers, models, studios, and friends, and taking on the outdoors.
This initial hobby, now intended career, has revealed to me the beauty available to capture, ensuring moments last if not forever, at least for longer than the events themselves. Thank you for taking the time to look at my work, I hope you enjoy it as much as I have.
