It’s great to watch videos filmed by photographers as you can witness photographs literally come to life. Last time we shared with you ”Istanbul, the Pearl of the Bosphorus” by Juan Carlos Diaz, a tribute to the incredible city.
Today’s featured video is “Low Tide - The Seaweed Farmers of Nusa Lembongan”. This film was shot and edited by Free Mindflow in an observational documentary style, in order to enable the viewer with a sense of reality when witnessing the most significant and particular part of the island’s inhabitants lives.
This short film is part of the first episode of Where’s Paradise? project focusing on the island of Nusa Lembongan, 20km South East of Bali. The series puts side by side the western idea of paradise that conjures images of small tropical islands with white sandy beaches and coconut groves and the actual lives of the actual people that live in these often remote places. The first episode also features a photo set viewable on 500px.com/freemindflow.
In our opinion photographers make great videographers. Do you have a video that you’d like to share or you're in a process of planning a shoot? Let us know, email firstname.lastname@example.org. We are always open to your ideas and collaborations, and would love to feature you on our blog.
