I got my first SLR in October of 2010. I started off very interested in HDR photography as well as photography in general. The problem was, there's not a lot of landscapes to shoot in South Florida...
Buying a 100mm macro lens changed my life. It totally revitalized my photography. I shoot almost everyday now, and I love it. I don't have to travel more than 20 minutes (usually ten) to get my shots. It's like a whole world opened up in front of me.
