Hi there! My name is Dick, I'm 46 years old, and I discovered 500px in 2012. I can only say that this has been a wonderful experience!! I'm interested in photographing since 2008. This was also the year I decided to buy my first digital SLR. This was a Canon EOS 450d. One year later I decided to buy a Canon EOS 7d en some professional L lenses, all f2.8 (24-70 / 70-200 / 100 macro). I’m really addicted to this lenses, and for special occasions I have a extender III (2x). I’m still waiting for the new Canon EOS 5d mark 3. I'm busy every day with my passion photography and always try to improve my skills. I’m also searching for the right subject to shoot. People, Family, Travel, Animals, Macro, Nature, Fine Art, Black and White and Products are one of my favorites. I'm always looking for that great shot, that one special moment! I love to make people happy with my pictures and I enjoy when people get emotional about my captured moments. I'm an energetic people person and I love to be creative with my photography. I live in the neighborhood of Amsterdam, The Netherlands, but I like to travel a lot.
