Born and raised in Chicago, studied Graphic arts at Columbia College, picked up the camera in 1991, from 1993 to 1997 I worked at LaSalle Photo, where I met several iconic photographers Marc Hauser, Paul Natkin, Art Ketchum and Stan Malinowski. soon there after I studied studio lighting and became an assistant for Art Ketchum and Ronald Anthony at their Park Ridge studio, exclusively shot my own portrait and model sessions there as well. Shot my first concert in 1995 of Blues artist Luther Allison in Grant Park, through the guidance of another mentor, Music Photographer Eugene Kimmons. In 1997 I left Chicago, I currently reside in West Virginia. After 16 years as a Music Photographer, I retired from shooting major concert tours on November 4th 2011. I still do music related assignments for the indie and underground music scene.
