Most of my childhood occurred in Bozeman, Montana; a beautiful mountain community in its own right and a place conveniently located near Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks. It was during regular family visits to the Parks that I developed a great sense of wonder and awe for the wild beauty of the natural world around me.
Later, as a teenager, I also developed a fascination with the blend of science, technology, and art that informs the world of photography. I quickly understood the value of this medium for capturing and communicating to others what I love about nature.
These days, I live in northern Utah (American Fork), where I have ready access to the mountains and canyons of the Wasatch Range; also, where I'm located within a day's drive of several national parks, monuments, and wildlife refuges. I love all of these places, from Yellowstone and the Tetons to the Grand Canyon and the Four Corners Region. I also have a great love for the Pacific Northwest; the Oregon Coast in particular. So these locations, among others are featured prominently in my photography.
I genuinely hope that you enjoy what you find here.
