The passion to capture the shot of the moments that inspire me, began when I was about 16 years old. It took a whole month’s wage to purchase my first SLR camera, a Nikon F50. This was the start of a journey that took me throughout different moods and cultures. Different adventures. But a nice picture can just be grasped in your own garden, at the next serendipity of new elements that cross our path. Photography is more than just the hunt. It’s about the smiles that come with the memories. It’s about engagement and bliss. But what it all boils down to is the fact the world just doesn’t fit conveniently into the format of a 35mm camera. Not even into the Hasselblad I dream of. We are only able to capture what we think is the essence…. the visual aspect of the emotion that struck us.
