As with many things in life, we all strive to keep things simple, straightforward and "Black and White". Perhaps, years from now, I will be able to see the world, life through the camera with such clarity and simplicity. However, the world and the process of photography seems only to increase in its shades of grey with each picture I take. Perhaps, this is essential within process of discovery. Working with models, makeup artists, and clothing designers in collaborations to create images has been tiring, frustrating but immensely satisfying when finally, an image is created which we can all sit back, look at, and feel that some part of each of our personalities is embedded forever in the stillness of a photograph. However, if from this fixed set of coloured pixels, we manage to convey emotion, expression and movement to the viewer then that is the ultimate prize and aim.
