"If I could've said it with words I'd never have picked up a camera."
I'm not a big believer in 'artist's statements, so I'll spare you the deep deepness and creative struggles. I like to make cool pictures and that can mean quite a few different things. Sometimes the photojournalist in me takes the reigns, other times the gloss and polish of commercial photography appeals to me. I don't care if I'm shooting with my dusty Polaroid, my iPhone or a full-frame DSLR because for me it's not about the gear - it's about the experience of capturing a moment, an emotion or a clever arrangement of lines and colors that appeals to my eye. Many of the photos you will find here won't make their way into my primary portfolio, they just appeal to me for whatever reasons so I post them here. Many are shot and edited with only my iPhone which I find to be the handiest little camera of all time. The world of photography is evolving too quickly to shoehorn it into a particular philosophy or approach so I just roll on and let the chips fall where they may.
Never temper the truth.
