My interest in photography developed at an early age because my father constantly had a camera at the ready wherever we went. It wasn't until college, though, when I actually got behind the lens and began seriously shooting in my spare time. From a point and shoot camera early on, I realized that taking photos in a digital format was going to take the creation of photographs to the masses. And in large part, it has.
I have no formal training, so my experience behind the camera is derived completely from experimentation, which digital photography has made possible in a largely cost-effective way. And since every day is an opportunity to photograph something new, my skills and experience are growing constantly.
