Photography has been a passion of mine for a long time but I have only recently started to become more serious about it. My pictures and images are not straight out of the camera. I enjoy working on a picture just as much as I enjoy taking it. I try to create the atmosphere and mood which caused me to take the picture in the first place. In a way they are a representation of an altered memory and emotion and just as much part of me as they are of the subject. I'm a doctor by profession and although what I do for a living is extremely fulfilling, I need a way to vent my artistic urges....Photography is just perfect.
