I am an engineer in the day and an avid photographer on weekends, and spare time. My wife (Barb) is my best friend and my assistant in my photography endeavor. Living in the SF Bay Area affords us the opportunity to visit many magical areas with very interesting subject matter waiting to be captured and share with the world. We love going to San Francisco, Point Lobos, Big Sur, Point Reyes, and Yosemite , just to name a few of my favorite places. For many years I lived in the darkroom working solely on B&W photography as this was my passion. Now with the advent DSLR and computer power of digital manipulation, as analogous to B&W chemicals with projector power, the flexibility to manage the image is far more controllable in this space. Image composition still the same as always, but the big delta is that manipulation of the image is now software base and not chemically based. I have a number Canon “L” series lenses that serve we well. My Canon bodies consist of T2i and soon D5 Mark2. My interest now is landscapes.
