My journey with photography began when my uncle handed me down his ol' Minolta X-700 film camera and a grab bag of used lenses. I took the kit to Australia, where I lived for a year after college and began teaching myself the basics. Travel and landscape photography became a huge interest for me then and remains so today.
In late 2010, I decided to take the jump into the DSLR world and have added portrait, wedding, and commercial photography to my list of passions.
In a nutshell, I love to shoot just about anything and everything. For me, the best thing about photography is that there is always something new to learn, to share, to explore, to create...for me, it's the light that never goes out...
