A self-taught photographer, Anne M. Fearon-Wood has been interested in photography for over 30 years. She was born and raised in New Brunswick, Canada and graduated from an Ontario university with degrees in Biology (BSc), an Outdoor Recreation Management degree (HBOR) and a certificate in Parks and Tourism. She currently works as a benthos biologist. She has called beautiful Vancouver Island, British Columbia, home for over twenty years. Anne is passionate about photography and believes photography is a teaching tool for conservation and appreciation of the beauty of the natural environment. She loves shooting landscapes, pets and wildlife and her goal is to constantly challenge herself learning new techniques, lighting, and composition.
Besides photography, her other interests include travelling, hiking, sailing, cycling and yoga.
