I’ve always felt a desire to express myself. To capture not only the beauty around me, but to create and share my own. When I discovered photography, I discovered an outlet for this energy. Suddenly, I could share my trips, the unique places, and the interesting people with those I loved. It was a way of immortalizing those special moments that so frequently fade from our lives.
My love of nature spurred me to pick up my first camera. Growing up, hiking and fishing were as vital as breathing, and I’d often spend hours turning rocks over or stomping down overgrown trails. Later, photography became my way of honoring and sharing this love of the outdoors with others.
