I have always enjoyed photography, and even started a photography course way back when. However in those days I didn't have the equipment or the finances to take it further. However that didn't stop me taking loads of not so good photos with an old Agfa camera, then spend days waiting for them to come back from the developers (we lived quite far from the nearest one). I always said I'd never change to digital despite the cost involved in film photography. However, I am happy I did. Now I can try all those things I couldn't do before. That said, I still use my old 35mm cameras, but only for those special shots. I can often be found photographing the most unusual of things such as the rainbows on a cd or dvd, or laying in my back yard doing macro bug photography. Nothing is safe! I enjoy trying new things and effects and can spend ages trying new techniques and processes using Photobrush. Many of my best results are purely accidental though. So far I only use my photos for my own postcards, although a few friends have asked to use one or two for whatever they wanted them for.
