I'm 53 years old, living in Vienna, married and have a grown daughter. Professionally I'm working in program development. Besides photography, I spend my spare time with reading, bowling and tai-chi. Photography started in 2004 with a photo course, which infected me with enthusiasm - so the feeling for colors, shapes and situations was added to my technical interest. In 2007 I took a course in studio photography - that sparked my interest in people photography. My photographic work is situation-driven. I'm taking pictures outdoors, in my own home studio and every now and again I go under water. For the final touch in image processing, I try to preserve the natural character and enhance the visual impact of the images.
